Balmonds began with a mother so desperate to find an effective, non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s painful skin that she ended up making one herself. Balmonds aim to make their products as safe, effective and as simple as possible so every ingredient they use serves a particular purpose; each has been chosen for its effectiveness rather than for cosmetic reasons. Cloth nappy safe - Baby Balm
Whether you are using cloth or disposable nappies, this natural Balm Balm is great to have on hand with a little one around! It is suitable to use for babies 6 weeks and older. It’s a fantastic product to use on nappy rash and can also be applied daily as part of your nappy changing routine due to its protective yet breathable properties. You don’t need to worry about clogging up the fibres of our nappies, however it might still be worthwhile using a liner as beeswax can cause some grey staining to the nappies.
The balm comes in a 50ml tin, an ideal size for a changing station or your nappy bag. This multi-purpose Baby Balm can also be used against dribble rash, chapped skin and cradle cap or for adults as a lip balm, moisturising cream and to soothe itchy skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.
Chamomile baby oil
Balmonds Chamomile Baby Oil is a multi-purpose oil with a calming and nourishing formula making it perfect for babies’ delicate skins. It will lock in moisture during or after bathing. It’s also great to use during your nappy changing routine. Simply apply onto reusable baby wipes to help clean your baby in the gentlest way possible. The lavender smell makes it perfect for the pre-bed bath helping your baby relax. Its luscious organic ingredients also make this oil great as a facial cleanser, massage oil or shaving oil. So don’t feel like you have to save it for the baby only!
Skin Salvation
This is Balmonds original award-winning natural moisturiser. Skin Salvation is a thick, rich, oily, beeswax-based salve, designed to soothe the itch, lock in moisture and protect from further irritation to break the itch-scratch cycle. It contains hemp seed oil, which is very rich in essential fatty acids which eczema sufferers often lack, so long-term use will nourish the skin with the nutrients and oils needed to regenerate, regulate and repair the skin. This ointment can be used for all skin types and by all ages, including babies 6 weeks and older. It is suitable for people who are prone to suffer from eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and itchy skin conditions.
