The waterproof cover for any nappy system made out of especially fine, soft Merino wool. The high knitted waistband not only stops leaks but helps keep babies tummy warm in winter and cool in summer.
Wool wraps are very easy to use. Wool is naturally anti-bacterial so it only needs washing once every couple of weeks (or if soiled). Lanolise every one to two months (see directions below).
The wool absorbs any leaks from the nappy underneath which are then neutralised by the natural lanolin in wool. If the wrap gets damp, then just hang it out to dry. Thanks to the natural self-cleaning function of the wool fibres, the pants are left hygienically clean. Lanolise before first use to waterproof the wool.

Washing Disana Wool Wrap
Disana's organic Merino wool is a very soft fabric so care must be taken when washing. Disana recommends hand washing or machine washing on a 30C wool programme. Hand washing will maintain the shape and size of your product better. Use a Diana's wool shampoo which is designed to protect and replenish wool's natural oils. To hand-wash your organic Merino wool, dilute your wool detergent in cool water, max 30C (lukewarm only, should feel coolish), in a bowl. Add your woollen overpants, gently stirring and squeezing the detergent through. Rinse using water at the same temperature.
Don't wring, soak, brush or rub vigorously as the wool fibres may be damaged and your garment may felt up and shrink. Just squeeze the water through.
To dry, gently squeeze water out and wrap your woollen cover in a towel to remove the excess water.
Re-shape while damp. Air-dry naturally avoiding direct heat.
